A Summer Book Club at the Chattanooga History Center

Description: The Chattanooga History Center will offer A Summer Book Club, with the book discussions at 7:00pm on the first Tuesdays of June (3rd), July (1st), August (5th), and September (2nd). The fee is $15, and the registration deadline is June 6th.. The program will be held at the History Center, 615 Lindsay Street, Suite 100.

Join History Center Curator, Dr. Daryl Black in discussing choice summer reading with history themes. The books are:

~Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, Good Wives: Image and Reality in the Lives of Women in Northern New England
~James Fenimore Cooper, The Pioneers
~Doris Kearns Goodwin, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln
~Douglas Brinkley, Rosa Parks: A Life

Refreshments will be provided for each session, with wine and cheese featured at the last.
