A United Way Agency
The Mystery is Revealed, March 3, 2007
Chattanooga, TN (2/13/07)-The good work of Chattanooga's Kids on the Block (CKOB) is no mystery, as the United Way agency provides educational puppetry programs with a proven track record for educating children in a manner in which they understand and retain. Since its inception twenty seven years ago, CKOB has performed for over 525,000 children and adults in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia.
To help honor the impact the organization is having within the community, and to assist the ongoing and expanding programming which it provides, CKOB invites to the community to attend its annual dinner auction, Impact 2007: “Soir de Mystere-An Evening of Mystery” on Saturday, March 3, 2007 in the Silver Ballroom of the Sheraton Read House Hotel, at 827 Broad Street in Downtown Chattanooga.
This year’s festivities will feature a masquerade ball beginning at 6:30 PM, which opens the silent auction and a cocktail reception with music provided by The Manny Bowen Trio. Dinner will be served at 7:30PM, with the dessert course opening live auction festivities by auctioneer, Joel Beard. Guests have the opportunity to preview live auction items by visiting the CKOB website at www.kidsontheblock.net, where packages will be updated daily. The evening will conclude with dancing until midnight, with music provided by Sound Force Entertainment.
